Howdy. I'm Cody Bunton. Not the one with the arrest records in Missouri. Also, not the one in Tyler, TX—though he was born less than 24 hours before me and we are friends.
I spent a miserable decade as a graphic designer: drawing tampon packaging, laying out cookbooks, and editing out Beyonce's cleavage on fragrance bottles so it could be sold in big box stores (true story). I was really good at it. I still am as a matter of fact. But much like Peter Gibbons in Office Space, I wished someone would put me in a coma. Eventually, I saved up enough money to quit my career, and find out what I wanted to be when I grow up. When the savings ran out, Ken Eden of Eden's Home Repair and Remodeling was gracious enough to hire me—a soft man who didn't own a hammer and couldn't read a tape measure. I will forever be grateful for the chance he took on me. Within a week, I knew I would build homes for the rest of my life. Thanks to Ken Eden and Steven Rice, I can dig a foundation, put the roof on and literally everything in between.
I was born and raised in NorthWest Arkansas. Today I live in Fayetteville, with my wife Jayla, our two children, a whippet named Narwhal, and an ungrateful cat.
